If you are reading this, you are very fortunate because your search for an outstanding Neurologist/Doctor need go no further. As a 63 yr.-old man, I have seen way too many doctors in my life, but none better than Dr. Afshari.
She is an expert in her specialized field, but also very knowledgeable about issues dealt with by an Internist. She is brilliant, yet caring and thorough.
Dr. Afshari has always given me the time required for my case. I always enjoy seeing her because she has a great sense of humor. On a scale of 1-10, she is an 11 ("Spinal Tap" reference). Book her ASAP as her schedule is unsurprisingly crowded. But, be patient. You'll thank me later!

I can't thank Dr. Afshari and her team enough, they are all incredible. I did not realize how much my previous doctor had been neglecting my health care until I first saw Dr. Afshari. She told me more in 1 session than I had been told in 20 years! She is highly knowledgeable in her field and explains everything in a way that makes sense. I went to her with a neurological issue and from that first visit she ordered relevent tests which identified symptoms that could potentially be life changing. Without her care, compassion and intellect I would not have known about these other issues and how to handle them. She goes above and beyond to help her patients and I really appreciate everything that she is doing for me. I leave her office feeling confident because I know that she has my best interest at heart and sees me as an individual and not as a diagnosis.
